Ritual Paraphernalia   Book of Shadows     The paraphernalia or tools that could be used by witches and magickians can be divided into two categories, those that are potentially useful and those that are actually pointless. The distinction as to which are useful can only be appreciated by study, experimentation and a suspense of belief. If any item does not do what it says it does on the label then throw it away, have a cup of tea, and start again.   That said, let's get down to it.     The Wand The wand is a standard weapon of both the witch and the magickian and can be said to represent the element of AIR within a ritual context. However, in an attempt to show that nothing is true, it also represents the element of FIRE, though only in one of Hugh Everett’s multiple Universes on a Friday evening, just after 9pm.    This confusion is brought about by the action of quantum uncertainty which, as we all know, can cause a great deal of ch...

Musings of a Satanic Witch

Musings of a Satanic Witch The Seven Tenets   Here are some of my thoughts and feelings regarding the 7 tenets of The Satanic Temple written in a somewhat poetic manner.   Tenet the First How would it be if I were you?    Would I say what you say and do what you do?   Could I walk in your shoes and know how you feel?    Experience your pain and know that it’s real?   Would I cope with the people who’ve treated you bad?    Who bullied and beat you when you were so sad?   Would I feel all the scars that my eyes cannot see?    And know where you hurt when I’m once again me?   I would be there when you’re feeling alone.    A sensitive ear when you need a good moan.   When your world is collapsing and you feel there’s no hope.    I could be with you, and help you to cope.   The help I could give if I opened my heart,    With compassion and reason. At least it’s a start! ...

Retroactive Enchantment

It would work like this: On a day to day basis you would write journals of the events of that day and you would meditate in order to create ‘gaps’ or blackouts in your personal awareness, which you would then document. You could also create these blackouts just before making important decisions that could potentially be life changing. At some future point you could do your ‘magick’ by meditaing on a particular gap from your ‘grimoire’ that occured prior to something you wanted to change. For example, just before you did the lottery. You could go back with the knowledge of what the winning numbers were and use those instead of the losing ones that you actually chose. Now, according to the Itladian paradigm as put forward by Anthony Peake, there might actually be the possibility of doing this. To explain: As mentioned in my note ‘Timeslides’ the Itladian pa...
